Covid-19 Hospitality Sector Ventilation
Date: 08 July 2020
Experts say Ventilation is a key factor in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the hospitality sector.
As pubs and restaurants begin opening their doors in UK and Ireland following Covid-19 lockdown measures, six key recommendations to help keep premises Covid-secure have been issued by BEAMA, the UK trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastucture technologies and systems.
The emergence of Covid-19 has affected many businesses, with the hospitality sector being particularly hard hit. The recommendations include optimal settings for mechanical ventilation systems, effective toliet ventilation, centralised systems, ventilation maintenance and ventilating without a mechanical system.
