Prestigious Microsoft Contract
Leading Global Software Company Microsoft has recently had three Beam Central Vacuum Systems installed in its UK laboratory research facility in Cambridge.
The high profile project involved the installation of the central vacuum systems designed to collect dust and debris from the floors and benches of three laboratory areas for up to twelve simultaneous users.
The vacuum inlets fitted were wall and ceiling mounted for convenience around the work benches. On inserting the vacuum hose into the inlet valves the vacuum plant activates automatically and stops when the vacuum hose is withdrawn. Specialist fine detail extract nozzles were also supplied. All vacuum equipment is located on the roof and housed in weather and sound proof enclosures, as no maintenance is required to these units which have been set for ideal system performance.
The collected dust is drawn through the collection hoses and tools, through the duct work to the dedicated HEPA filter dust collector separator installed in each of the laboratory areas. All collected debris is then stored in the collection containers which each have the capacity to hold approximately 28 litres.
Our Beam engineers successfully installed the system over a twelve week period in order to meet the fast track construction schedule.
