Digital Management System

Interactive Digital Management System available on some Serenity vacuum models - displays time, temperature, hours of use, motor performance, call for service and when the bin needs emptied.

Bypass Motor

High performance, high efficiency bypass motor causes vacuumed air to be exhausted around the motor and not through it, prolonging motor life.  An ECS control module with integrated soft start motor also helps extend motor life. The variable speed motor provides 3 suction levels.  An exhaust filter captures all motor carbon dust.

Sound Reduction System
Patented Serenity Sound Reduction system with additional filtration from motor area.  The " Sound-Off" Muffler also reduces air noise to a whisper.

Direct Utility Inlet
Convenient manually operated built-in utility inlet on power unit for vacuuming garage, car and surrounding area.

Anti-bacterial Waste Bin
Alphasan® infused (anti-bacterial) twist off resin bin guards against odours and improves hygiene.  The transparent bin allows easy viewing of dirt levels.

Beam: Easily installed in all types of house construction

Whether your home is block, timberframe etc, new or existing, our professional team of Beam engineers will be happy to install the central vacuum system for you.
Installation Schedule for a New House:

First Fix:
  • When stud walls are in place and before your plaster board goes on.
  • If no stud walls being constructed, before plastering and before the ceilings go up.
Second Fix:
  • When your plastering is nearing completion and before the floors are screeded;
  • If installing underfloor heating, before polystyrene / insulation is laid;
  • When plumbing & heating pipes are being laid in floors;
  • If power unit is being located in a detached garage, a 4" trench duct to carry our vacuum pipe must be prepared at this stage.

A 13 amp electrical socket, positioned at a high level, is required beside the location of the power unit.

It is important that your Beam Central Vacuum System is completed and air tested before floor tiling and decorating to ensure that no wires or ducting have been accidentally damaged under the floor during house completion.

Existing Houses:

About 95% of existing homes — regardless of age — can be retrofitted with a BEAM Central Vacuum System. The key to success is planning a pipe system so that the vacuum duct can be concealed with the least amount of disruption, with the correct number of vacuum inlets, while still giving you the vacuum cleaning flexibility only a central vacuum system offers.

Our experienced team of engineers can install your Beam system with minimum mess or fuss!

DIY:

Should you decide to install your Beam system yourself, we supply a step by step installation DVD and an installation guide for all DIY projects.
