Situation:

In this workroom in Galway, a large quantity of dust was generated as a by product of carpentry creating a dusty work environment and a health concern for workers.

Solution:

The solution was to locate a spot extraction point at each work station ensuring a minimum amount of dust being circulated within the work area. 24 extraction points were located at workstations throughout the workshop with start/stop by remote control available. A high vacuum seperator was located in the workshop.On line filter cleaning is carried out by compressed air reverse jet pulse allowing continuous use.
